Staging the Art of Scottsdale Living: A McCormick Ranch Home
Project type
Luxury Home Staging
Date
October 2024
Location
Scottsdale, AZ
Nestled in the heart of McCormick Ranch, this magnificent 5-bedroom home is a seamless blend of luxury and artistic flair. When I approached the staging of this property, my goal was simple: to enhance its innate charm while ensuring the homeowners’ exquisite art collection remained the centerpiece of each room.
The homeowners, avid collectors, had adorned the space with beautiful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Rather than overshadow the art, my staging approach aimed to complement these treasures, allowing the home’s charm to speak for itself while maximizing its unique features.
In the master bedroom and bath, I focused on creating a serene yet stylish retreat, placing elegant touches that enhanced the room’s grandeur without detracting from the gorgeous views or the art on display.
The kitchen, the heart of this home, required only minimal staging. By clearing surfaces and introducing understated décor, I emphasized the impressive Subzero and Wolf appliances and the captivating quartz waterfall island that truly elevates the space.
Moving outside, the backyard provided a perfect canvas for an inviting, yet relaxed, setup. I staged the patio with thoughtful seating arrangements and décor, ensuring it became a seamless extension of the home’s indoor elegance.
In the living room, dining room, and bar area, my intention was to create spaces that felt both open and intimate, balancing function with aesthetic. The artwork provided by the owners was a showstopper, so each piece of décor was chosen to enhance the colors and textures within these rooms, not compete with them.
The secondary bedrooms and bathrooms were staged with simple yet stylish pieces to maintain a clean and cohesive look, inviting prospective buyers to envision themselves in these elegant spaces.
Despite a tight timeline, this project was a rewarding experience, and the result is a beautifully staged home that remains true to its original charm while inviting new possibilities.
